After receiving his law degree, Attorney Kohn served as William C. Head’s law clerk from 1996 to 1998, where he learned a great deal about how to successfully defend clients who were charged with drunk driving.

Knowing how important it is to further his legal education, Attorney Kohn attends the National College for DUI Defense seminars, which are presented at Harvard.

Due to his extensive knowledge on topics related to drunk-driving, Attorney Kohn has been asked to speak on topics such as: Recent Georgia DUI Law, Defending DUI, Handling Administrative Driver’s License Suspensions and Revocations and Defending Drinking, and Analyzing DUI Cases for Trial.

To better defend his clients, Attorney Kohn became NHTSA certified to teach law enforcement agents how to administer standardized field sobriety tests. He took this training in order to better understand how the tests are conducted and to learn the potential weaknesses.

Attorney Kohn is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also fluent in Spanish.

During his career, Attorney Kohn has represented clients in hundreds of DUI cases. He has a successful record of having these cases minimized or dropped.
